One last get-together before we wrap up for the year.

Climax Clique is Club Love’s dedicated FLINTA night — a sanctuary for women, femmes, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people to gather, dance, play and take up space, free from the cis-male gaze.

These nights honour the sacred need for queer joy, sexual exploration and collective safety without cis men present. Expect boundary-pushing music, intentional play spaces, and a community rooted in care and consent.

More than a party. A celebration of FLINTA power, pleasure and resistance.

THE AFTERNOON, HOUR BY HOUR

FROM 3.00PM — KINKY CLOTHES SWAP

Bring the cute things you’ve fallen out of love with, the pieces you’ve never quite found an occasion for, and the fabulous finds that deserve a second life. Swap, share, trade and discover something new to wear over the festive season, to Club Love’s December bash, or for when we all reunite next year.

Rails will be set up downstairs by the dance floor. Bring your contributions and get stuck in.

4.30PM – 6.00PM — TEASE SPEED DATING

Back by popular demand. Speed dating, playful icebreakers, and the real possibility of a very good connection — last time brought some genuinely lovely encounters.

Romance, a new playmate, a flirtation, or simply some fresh faces to get to know. Come with curiosity and see what happens.

FROM 6.00PM — MUSIC, PLAY & FESTIVE FUN

Once the connections are made, we head downstairs. Residents Holy C and Jasseeka Del soundtrack the evening from 6pm, with our full operational play space open and stalls to explore.

It’s officially the season of questionable Secret Santa gifts, cheeky little presents, flirtatious purchases, and things best left unexplained to your family. Shopping for someone special, treating yourself, or just browsing for inspiration — come and see what our stallholders have.

We’ve upgraded the venue heating, so settle in and make a proper evening of it. Bring your own food and snacks to keep yourselves fuelled, and make yourselves at home.

WHAT FLINTA MEANS, AND WHY IT MATTERS

FLINTA is a term rooted in European queer and feminist movements. It’s explicitly political — designed to push back against the invisibility of lesbians, trans and non-binary people within “women’s spaces”, and to build solidarity across gender-marginalised identities.

Much like Polari, the coded queer slang once spoken in theatres, fairgrounds and hidden bars, FLINTA language is about survival, kinship and claiming joy in defiance of exclusion. Polari gave queers in Britain a secret way to connect under criminalisation. FLINTA carries that tradition forward, with a political urgency: to carve out nightlife, play and cultural space free from patriarchal dominance.

WHO WE ARE

Climax Clique is a queer-led, entirely self-funded project, grown out of sheer determination to carve out space for liberation, intimacy and connection in the Southwest. No funding, no corporate backing, no safety net — just the stubborn belief that queer people deserve places where desire can be explored with care, confidence and imagination.

That grassroots ethic shapes everything. It keeps us honest, community-focused, and deeply protective of the people who trust us with their nights out, their fantasies and their boundaries.

Some rooms will be hypnotic and hedonistic. Others slow, intimate and grounded. You’ll find beautifully held play spaces, intimate zones for guided exploration, areas to rest and recalibrate, and corners where conversation flows as easily as the music.

PART OF THE CLUB LOVE WORLD

Club Love FLINTA members are automatically welcome at Climax Clique, and new guests can apply specifically for Climax Clique if that suits better. The wider ecosystem includes Cottage Club, celebrating the raw erotic energy of cis and trans men with a nod to cruising culture, and Ourgasm, our annual festival blending art, workshops, performance and nightlife into a weekend that’s both liberating and deeply grounding.

This is a members event. Attendance is limited to approved Club Love / Climax Clique members.
