The Edge is an LGBTQ+ nightclub in central Southampton, welcoming the LGBTQ+ community and allies for late-night entertainment, music and dancing. Operating alongside The Box Bar, the venue offers multiple bar spaces and dance areas, creating a lively setting for everything from themed nights out to special celebrations.
The weekly programme includes DJ nights, karaoke, drag entertainment, cabaret and bingo. Wednesday’s BAR150 features karaoke, DJs and drinks promotions, while Friday nights bring drag-hosted bingo and cabaret. Saturdays feature guest DJs playing house, hip-hop, club anthems and party classics across two floors.
The venue also offers cocktail bars, drinks promotions, outdoor seating and a garden bar area, with late-night food available on selected nights. The Box Bar provides an additional space for cocktails and entertainment, while private and VIP booth options are available for groups and celebrations.
The Edge operates as a members’ club. Members have priority entry, while non-members may be admitted at management’s discretion. Guests should bring valid physical ID, as ID scanning is part of the entry process. The venue is generally open Tuesday to Sunday, with opening and closing times varying by night.
