G-A-Y Bar & Heaven are two of London’s most iconic LGBTQ+ nightlife destinations, forming the heart of the capital’s queer entertainment scene. Located beneath the historic Charing Cross railway arches, Heaven has been welcoming clubbers since 1979 and is internationally recognised as one of Europe’s most famous LGBTQ+ nightclubs. Together with the nearby G-A-Y Bar, the venues offer an unforgettable mix of live music, club nights and world-class entertainment.
Heaven is renowned for hosting some of the biggest names in music, with legendary performances and appearances from international artists including Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Britney Spears, Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande and many more. Alongside its live concerts, the venue is famous for its high-energy club nights featuring multiple dance floors, resident DJs, themed events and chart, pop, dance and commercial music until the early hours.
The neighbouring G-A-Y Bar provides the perfect place to start the evening, offering a lively atmosphere across multiple floors with affordable drinks, music videos, pop anthems and regular entertainment before guests head across to Heaven for late-night clubbing.
Known for its inclusive atmosphere, G-A-Y and Heaven welcome LGBTQ+ guests, allies and visitors from around the world, creating a safe and vibrant environment where diversity and self-expression are celebrated. The venues remain central to London’s Pride celebrations and continue to play a significant role in supporting LGBTQ+ culture and nightlife.
Heaven also hosts regular live events, with concerts open to guests aged 14 and over (14 and 15-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+), while all club nights are strictly 18+. Valid photographic ID is required for all visitors, with entry managed through the venue’s ID scanning system.
