Underground clubbing, sex positivity and queer liberation, deep in the tunnels beneath Bristol Temple Meads.

Club Love is a members-only queer kink and fetish night held in the station’s former Ash Pits, where sprawling tunnels and raw Victorian brick set the scene. It isn’t a swingers club, and it doesn’t want to be. It’s built as a deliberate alternative to mainstream swinging culture: queer-centred, gender-fluid and run on radical consent. Strictly 20+.

The music

They book artists, not genres. Expect house, disco, tech house and breaks with a hedonistic edge, from DJs and performers who come from the LGBTQI+ community.

What to expect

• A dance floor, chill areas and play spaces
• Consent that’s verbal, enthusiastic and ongoing, plus a traffic light safeword system in shared spaces
• Play spaces for couples and groups only, with a supervisor on the door
• A cuddle room for rest and aftercare
• A queer-led well-being team trained by Bristol Drugs Project and Bristol Nights, visible all night
• Condoms, dams, lube and clean-up supplies in every play area
• No phones out, ever

Dress code: fetish, not fancy dress

Think leather, PVC, latex, harnesses, collars and pup gear. You don’t need expensive kit, just effort and intention. Not quite there? The on-site stylist and the Club Love Thrift Store will sort you out at the door. No jeans, no sportswear, no festival looks, no costumes.

How to get in

Club Love is members-only, with annual membership and screening for every new member. Members can bring one guest, and they answer for that guest’s behaviour.
