The Brewers

The Brewers Manchester is a lively LGBTQ+ bar on Canal Street in the heart of Manchester’s famous Gay Village. With its striking Edwardian windows, welcoming rainbow lights and stylish interior, the venue offers a vibrant setting for drinks, music and entertainment. Whether you're stopping by for cocktails or heading out for a night of dancing, The Brewers combines a friendly atmosphere with the energy of Manchester’s LGBTQ+ nightlife.

The bar serves an extensive drinks menu featuring cocktails, refreshing spritzes, highballs and sparkling drinks, making it a popular choice for socialising with friends. Its retro dancefloor and resident DJs help create a lively party atmosphere, while the venue's regular programme of events adds variety throughout the week.

The Brewers hosts a range of entertainment, including drag shows, cabaret, themed club nights and drag bingo. Regular events such as XPOSED feature drag performances, lip-sync battles and special guests, while other nights bring music and dancing to the venue. Opening hours extend late into the night, with the bar open until 4am on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

For private celebrations and group occasions, The Brewers also offers a dedicated function space called the BACKЯOOM, which can accommodate up to 250 guests. Private hire is available on selected terms throughout the week, making it suitable for parties and special events. Other facilities include a beer garden, smoking area, Wi-Fi, accessible toilet and dog-friendly access.

The Brewers also supports a safer and more inclusive LGBTQ+ nightlife scene through its partnership with the Ask for Clive campaign, which works with venues to help prevent discrimination and promote safer spaces.
