Get creative, meet new people, and spend an inspiring evening making art at Scrapbooking + Zine Making, a collaborative workshop hosted by MANOS QUEER and Trans Artists Collective (TAC) at the iconic Dalston Superstore.
Designed as a welcoming and accessible space for trans and queer communities, this relaxed creative session invites participants of all experience levels to come together and explore self-expression through collage, scrapbooking, zine-making, doodling, and mixed-media art. Whether you’re a seasoned artist, an enthusiastic crafter, or simply curious to try something new, everyone is encouraged to take part.
The workshop focuses on creativity, connection, and community. Guests will have the opportunity to work with a variety of materials, share ideas, collaborate with others, and create unique pieces in a supportive and inclusive environment. There is no expectation of artistic experience—this is a space for experimentation, conversation, and making something meaningful alongside fellow queer and trans creatives.
Hosted at Dalston Superstore, one of East London’s most celebrated LGBTQ+ venues, the event takes place in a vibrant community setting known for its inclusive atmosphere, cultural programming, and commitment to supporting queer artists, performers, and grassroots initiatives. The venue has become a cornerstone of London’s LGBTQ+ scene, regularly hosting social events, performances, workshops, club nights, and community gatherings.
Attendance is free, although advance booking is encouraged to help organisers plan the session. Optional Pay What You Can (PWYC) tickets are also available for those who wish to support future workshops and help sustain creative community spaces.
