Taking place every Wednesday, BodySwap brings together the trans community and allies for an unforgettable evening of music, performance, and community in one of East London’s most iconic LGBTQIA+ venues.
Curated by Harietta and Karlie Marx, the night features an exciting soundtrack of Transgender Dance Music, alongside guest DJs, go-go performers, and an ever-changing line-up of talented club kids and artists. Expect a high-energy atmosphere where creativity, self-expression, and individuality take centre stage from the moment the music begins until the early hours.
More than just a club night, BodySwap is a celebration of trans joy, resilience, beauty, and community. The event provides a platform for trans artists from diverse backgrounds while supporting important grassroots causes. Each week, door proceeds help raise funds for a trans person’s healthcare fundraiser, allowing guests to enjoy an incredible night out while directly supporting members of the community.
Hosted at Dalston Superstore, a cornerstone of London’s LGBTQIA+ nightlife, the venue is renowned for its inclusive atmosphere, eclectic events programme, and commitment to championing queer culture. BodySwap operates on a Pay What You Can basis, with a suggested £5 donation, helping to keep the event accessible while supporting its charitable mission. A limited number of low or no-income spaces are also available for those who need them, ensuring the event remains as inclusive as possible.
