Get ready to rewind the clock and relive your favourite decades as Tantalising Timewarp arrives at Club Play Blackpool. Hosted by Ass_with_sass, this playful themed night invites guests to travel through time with music, costumes, and nostalgic fun that celebrates the decades we all love.
Inspired by the iconic idea of a time warp, the evening encourages guests to choose their favourite era and bring it to life. Whether you fancy the glamour of the 1920s, the disco energy of the 70s, the neon vibes of the 80s, or the pop culture of the 90s and beyond, the theme offers endless possibilities. Fancy dress is completely optional, but creative outfits are always admired, and there will be a Best Dressed Award for those who truly embrace the theme.
The soundtrack of the night will take guests on a musical journey through the decades, featuring classic hits and nostalgic tracks guaranteed to fill the dance floor. Alongside the music, expect retro games, playful surprises, and a themed photo area where guests can capture their time-travelling looks while respecting the club’s phone and privacy rules.
A complimentary buffet will also be available during the evening, offering a selection of tasty bites to keep everyone energised while socialising, dancing, and exploring the venue.
Club Play Blackpool offers an extensive range of facilities, including multiple themed playrooms, private spaces, and larger shared areas for guests who wish to explore further as the night unfolds. The venue also features a wet area with sauna, providing a relaxing space to unwind between activities.
Guests can enjoy the bar and social areas throughout the evening, where there is no requirement to dress down. The dress-down policy only applies in the upstairs playroom areas.
This is a BYOB event, so guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol. The bar will be open for soft drinks and mixers, helping keep everyone refreshed throughout the night.
