It occupies a unit on a trading estate near the M3, in a building that from the pavement looks like somewhere you would go to collect a parcel — which is rather the point.

What catches most first-timers out is how much the evening changes from one party to the next. Hellfire runs a rotating monthly calendar, and the crowd, the ratio and the atmosphere move with it. Almost every complaint traces back to the date on the ticket rather than the club itself.

It is big, kinky, rough around the edges and much loved by its regulars — and a considerably better night out on some dates than others.

Where it is, and how to get there

The Hellfire club address is Gartside House, Harris Way, TW16 7EL.

Drive if you can. Parking is free, there are roughly a hundred spaces, and door staff patrol the car park and walk single women to their cars — a small thing that comes up in reviews a lot.

Upper Halliford station is 250 metres from the door, but the timetable defeats it: Friday parties run to 1:30am and Saturdays to 2am, long after the last train. Fine for Wednesday and Sunday afternoons; for weekends, plan a taxi or a designated driver.

Swingers Club Hellfire, Sunbury-on-Thames photos

The night you pick decides the night you get

The balance of couples to single men swings hard across the monthly calendar – the most useful thing to know before you book.

Wednesday — Brief Encounter. 6pm to 11pm, relaxed dress, cheapest ticket. Sold as the newbie night and fine for a look around, but the most hit-and-miss: regulars describe evenings with three couples and a lot of single men circling.

First Friday — 35 South, aimed at a younger crowd. Second Friday — The Dungeon, quieter and for serious dungeon users; not a beginner’s night. Third Friday — Bad Girls. Gents are handed £200 in fake money around 10pm, playing ladies have two hours to collect as much of it as they can, and the biggest earner wins £200 real, with bonus areas worth another £100. Heavy play, and the club says outright it isn’t for newcomers. If the format is new to you, it’s Hellfire’s spin on the greedy girls party.

First Saturday — No Saints, stylish but not black tie. Second Saturday — Couples Night: couples and single ladies only — no single men, no TV/TG, no exceptions. Third Saturday — SWISH, the flagship fetish-and-swingers crossover and consistently the best-reviewed party on the calendar. Fourth Saturday — AllBarNone, shibari, BDSM, cuckold and cinema play at once. Fifth Saturday — the Masquerade Ball, roughly four times a year, black tie or erotic dress with masks until midnight. Plus Halloween, the Christmas Ball, New Year, the club’s birthday and quiet Secret Sunday afternoons.

The pattern is hard to miss: couples-only Saturdays and fetish nights draw praise for balance and behaviour, while the general and midweek parties are where complaints cluster.

What a night costs

Tickets are sold through Eventbrite with dynamic pricing, so treat these as reference points rather than a rate card. Verified August 2026.

Recent tickets have run around £33 for single women, around £70 for single men, and around £70 for a couples weekend pass covering Friday and Saturday — which the club reckons brings Saturday down to as little as £8 a head. There’s a MultiSaver for block bookings of five couples at £10 off each, plus early-bird rates on bigger events.

Booking ahead isn’t just cheaper, it’s how the door works. Settle a deposit and balance at reception and there’s a £5 supplement for couples and single women, £10 for single men; turn up with no ticket at all and it’s £10 and £20 — assuming you get in, which for single men is unlikely. Deposits aren’t refundable; prepaid tickets can be refunded up to seven days before or transferred up to four.

Getting in

You do not need to be a member. Hellfire has phased out its subscription, and has only said it may reintroduce membership progressively, starting with single men. Entry is over-21s only, with ID requested from anyone who looks under 25.

Single men are the sticking point: numbers are capped at every party that admits them, you must pre-book, and couples-only events are closed. Once inside you’re treated like anyone else — one August 2026 review praised the cap and found every single man they spoke to respectful.

Two men can attend as a couple with a marriage or civil partnership certificate.

TV and TG guests are sorted differently depending on the night. At the three monthly fetish parties — SWISH, AllBarNone and The Dungeon — they are admitted as single ladies and pay single-ladies prices. Everywhere else it is a single-gent ticket, with the caps and higher price that carries, and couples-only nights are closed to them. The club calls this a compromise between recognising trans and crossdressing guests and being fair to single men, who pay considerably more. If that door maths affects you, we’ve looked at how UK clubs sort everyone into three boxes.

Dress code

The same rule holds at every party: no trainers, no t-shirts, no ripped jeans. Management turn people away for it, and for visible drunkenness. Masquerade nights step up to black tie, a suit, uniform or erotic dress plus a mask — the club sells them for £10 to £17 if you forget.

There is no stipulation for women; the club reckons half wear cocktail or long dresses, one in ten in corsets leather. Enforcement isn’t always even, though – a New Year’s Eve reviewer was irritated to see men admitted in trainers to a formal event.

Inside

Inside of the Hellfire club is a different building from the one you park outside — a wood-panelled lounge with chesterfields and a fireplace, an orangery over a wooden dance floor with a 13-foot pole, and the detail everyone remembers: a full-size vehicle parked in the dogging leg of the dungeon.

The Hellfire Club Interior Photo

There are two dungeons, ten playrooms, a couples-only corridor, a grope maze, changing and make-up rooms, and a cinema with real seating fed by a live camera from a playroom signposted Area 69. The club’s older FAQ still tells guests to bring their own with no corkage, so check the party page if it matters.

Two notes recur in almost every review: it’s clean, and in winter it’s cold, particularly the couples rooms.

The crowd at Hellfire Club London

The club puts the average age in the mid-thirties; reviewers put the real range at 30 to 60-plus. If you’re in your twenties, several people your age have said flatly they wouldn’t go back — one 24-year-old found a room mostly of mid-30s to 55s, and a mid-20s couple at Bad Girls counted 20 to 30 people and left disappointed.

Attendance is the other theme. More than one couple in 2026 found weekend nights quiet, and one arrived to a club that was effectively empty. Regulars say this is happening across the scene rather than at Hellfire, but it’s a real risk after a 50-minute drive.

Mixing gets mixed verdicts. The club promises walk-rounds and introductions for newcomers and plenty confirm they got them; others found couples stayed with couples and singles stayed single, and one regular called it clique-heavy.

If it’s your first time

Go midweek to the Hellfire club or on a Sunday afternoon first, when the ticket is cheap and you can walk the building without pressure. Take the offer of a tour — the fastest way past the awkward first hour. Start conversations, hold eye contact, and have a drink rather than five.

The couples who report the best nights tend to be the ones who arranged to meet another couple beforehand rather than turning up cold — you can find London swingers on GroupFun and sort that out in advance.

Pros and cons

Pros

Staff are the most praised thing about the club — friendly, visible, good with newcomers

Large and well equipped: two dungeons, ten playrooms, cinema, café, gardens

Clean, in review after review

Free, plentiful, patrolled parking with escorts to your car

Themed events done properly — Halloween, the 90s nights, the Masquerade Ball all draw warm reviews

Single-male caps are real and enforced on fetish and couples nights

Cheap midweek and afternoon tickets if you want a look first

Cons

Too many single men on general and midweek nights — the most common complaint by far

Attendance can be thin, even at weekends

Skews older; under-30s repeatedly report it isn’t for them

Cold in winter, particularly the couples rooms

Dress code isn’t enforced consistently

Friday closes at 1:30am under council rules, which several people found early

Last entry enforced to the minute — one couple was turned away at 12:01

Some find it cliquey despite the club’s efforts

The verdict

Hellfire is a big, slightly ramshackle, well-equipped club that has been running parties for well over a decade and knows exactly what it is. It isn’t polished and isn’t trying to be — if you want glossy, Le Boudoir is the other end of the scale.

What it is, is dependable on the right night and frustrating on the wrong one. Go to a couples-only Saturday, a SWISH or an AllBarNone and the ratios, the crowd and the dungeon all deliver. Turn up midweek expecting a busy room and you may drive home disappointed. Book early, and treat the name of the party as more important than the name of the club.

    100% Free • Discreet & Inclusive

Ready to Meet Real Members Near You?

Join the UK’s top free and inclusive lifestyle community — where swingers,
adventurous couples, open-minded singles and curious groups connect.
      No fake profiles.
